SCRABBLE for Kindle – Play the Popular Word Game on Kindle. Perfectly formatted, great graphics and fun for all scrabble fans.

You can play against the computer and choose three different levels of complexity. “Quick Play” mode allows you to play a game against the computer, so that you can practice your Scrabble skills. Select the “Pass ‘n’ Play” setting to play the game with up to 4 people.

You can set the level of difficulty, with the “difficult” mode challenging for even the most accomplished of Scrabble players. If you get stuck, the “best word” hint feature suggests the best move.

Comes with database of 2 letter words to help settle Scrabble disputes (including recently added QI, ZA, etc.).

The Kindle program makes its moves relatively quickly, so that the game stays moving at a good pace. The game keeps track of your stats, which will let you participate in Scrabble championships with your friends and family.

Sudoku for Kindle

Soduku – Play Sudoku on Kindle. Classic puzzle game and brain teaser from Electronic Arts.

The game is a fun gaming experience for Sudoku beginners and experts alike. The game controls are logical and well thought out, with an intuitive user interface.

It is easy to navigate the puzzle. If you are playing on a Kindle with no numbers, you enter numbers by using your 5-way controller to reach the square you want, then pressing a keypad letter corresponding to that number (Q,W,E,R,T,Y,U,I,O = 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9). There is a helpful legend at the bottom of the screen if you need it.

If you need help, you can use the “autoFill” option, which fills in all the possible numbers for each square. The “F” key will fill in the boxes with every available possibility (as if you were inputting the notes by hand). By selecting the notes feature (“N”), you can enter or eliminate possible numbers on your own. You can select “H” and the Kindle will fill in a random box. There is also a “hint” option if you are stuck on a square and need some help. If you get really stuck, you can ask the game to solve your puzzle instantly. For beginners, there is an optional error check mode that will prevent you from entering a wrong number.
