The game is a fun gaming experience for Sudoku beginners and experts alike. The game controls are logical and well thought out, with an intuitive user interface.

It is easy to navigate the puzzle. If you are playing on a Kindle with no numbers, you enter numbers by using your 5-way controller to reach the square you want, then pressing a keypad letter corresponding to that number (Q,W,E,R,T,Y,U,I,O = 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9). There is a helpful legend at the bottom of the screen if you need it.

If you need help, you can use the “autoFill” option, which fills in all the possible numbers for each square. The “F” key will fill in the boxes with every available possibility (as if you were inputting the notes by hand). By selecting the notes feature (“N”), you can enter or eliminate possible numbers on your own. You can select “H” and the Kindle will fill in a random box. There is also a “hint” option if you are stuck on a square and need some help. If you get really stuck, you can ask the game to solve your puzzle instantly. For beginners, there is an optional error check mode that will prevent you from entering a wrong number.
